A Self-Made Talent

The Ukrainian music scene continues to produce vibrant artists who aren’t afraid to experiment and create their own musical worlds. Anton Velboy, or Wellboy, is exactly that kind of musician. He writes his own songs, skillfully blending pop, folk, and hip-hop. His distinctive vocals, light self-deprecating humor, and emotional lyrics create a style that’s hard to mistake for anyone else’s.

He first showcased his talent in 2019, when Anton Velboy successfully passed the audition for the tenth season of the singing competition “X Factor.” In the finale, he took third place, but that was just the beginning of his musical journey.

In 2021, he debuted with the track “Husy” under the stage name Wellboy. Then came “Vyshni,” “Dodomu,” and other tracks that quickly gained popularity, going viral on social media. Wellboy isn’t resting on his laurels and continues to experiment with his sound. In 2026, the artist released a new EP, “Pasazhyr,” and is preparing for a major concert tour.
