Master of underground humour

Svyat Zagaykevych is one of the most controversial and original figures on the Ukrainian stand-up scene. The artist made his debut in the comedy genre as a toastmaster, and in 2012 he performed his first concert in a small Kyiv fan bar called Banka near the KPI. He then organised concerts for comedians in apartments and garages, and in 2015 he founded ‘Underground Stand Up’. This stand-up project became the most successful of its kind in Ukraine, proving that Svyat Zagaykevych knows a thing or two about humour.

The stand-up comedian himself cannot live without jokes. He performed short sketches on the ‘Underground Stand Up’ stage, and in 2022 he decided to start a solo career. He already has four successful solo performances and charity tours across Europe under his belt, raising funds for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Sviat Zagaykevych knows how to make people laugh, how to inspire and how to relax the audience, and he does it very skilfully. And such performances must be seen live!
