The Tale of the 12 Months: A New Version
This is the most anticipated premiere of the season. The story of the famous fairy tale of the same name by Czech writer Božena Němcová comes to life before the audience’s eyes. The text has been slightly modified and adapted, but combined with masterful choreography, atmospheric music, and modern staging, it has created a brilliant production that leaves no one indifferent. A Masterpiece for the Whole Family
The show “The Tale of the 12 Months” has already taken the Ukrainian stage by storm. But the production has been improved – it now runs for 1.5 hours, features more dance numbers and additional musical Themes, and will have up to 80 performers on stage at the same time. The elements that made “The Tale of the 12 Months” a success remain unchanged:
- the one-of-a-kind Virsky dance troupe, whose dancers perform masterful and seemingly impossible moves;
- the incredible music of Dmytro Saratsky;
- unique national costumes by Nazar Didyk (who worked on Cirque du Soleil’s “Zarkana” and “The Wardrobe”);
- cutting-edge technology – a large LED screen for animated video sequences, a light show, and other special effects.
