The “Michael Jackson’s Music by Candlelight” program is presented by the Kyiv-based all-female string quartet Black Tie. Two violins, a viola, and a cello create a completely new interpretation of familiar melodies, adding depth, drama, and a special intimate feel.
The musicians of Black Tie are true professionals. They have created and perform several programs featuring instrumental renditions of iconic and popular tunes. They have performed music by Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey, Adele, Imagine Dragons, and Coldplay, as well as scores from the TV series “Bridgerton” and “Game of Thrones.” Black Tie has collaborated with Jamala, Vivienne Mort, LAMA, Yevhen Khmara, and other well-known Ukrainian artists.
