Medical humour without embellishment

The show Medical Stories appeared on YouTube about a year ago. Its creators and hosts, Slavik Martynyuk and Bohdan Vakhnych, decided to combine funny stories from hospital life with stand-up comedy. And they did a great job, because the show almost instantly became a real cultural phenomenon, winning over viewers with its sincerity. Medical Stories has garnered millions of views, sparked discussions and memes, and turned its creators into favourites of a wide audience. Viewers were able to see that medicine can be not only serious, but also very funny.

Slavik Martynyuk and Bohdan Vakhnych openly share what they saw and experienced while working in a hospital. The former worked in a psychiatric hospital for a year and a half, and the latter currently works as an emergency medical doctor.
