The phenomenal legacy of Pavlo Virsky
The Virsky Ensemble is perhaps the best dance group in Ukraine today. Pavlo Virsky was one of its founders and the main creative “engine”. This outstanding choreographer, artist and dance master led the ensemble for 20 years, laying down its fundamental approaches and principles. While researching Ukrainian dance traditions, Pavlo Virsky, and later his follower Myroslav Vantukh, created many bright and authentic choreographic compositions:

- “Slider” and many others.
Today, VIRSKY is a stormy combination of impeccable technique, talent and hard work. The dancers perform extremely complex dance and acrobatic elements that seem impossible. Thanks to their high skill, VIRSKY have become a real cultural phenomenon in Ukraine, presenting its culture around the world.
