The village, bad weather and unwanted patients

The enchanting play ‘Obstetricians involuntarily’ is laughter through tears, incredible transformations and a large-scale production that will surprise even the most demanding viewer. At the centre of the comedy's plot are two venereologists from Kyiv, Alexander and Oksana, who, under mysterious circumstances, were transferred to a rural medical and obstetric centre. Just yesterday, they were working in the comfortable conditions of the capital, and now they are forced to spend the night surrounded by the smell of iodine and old walls in the village of Vyshenky.

Both doctors are convinced that this decision was made by management due to someone's serious mistake. Therefore, Alexander and Oksana blame each other for everything. And at this very moment, fate throws them a new challenge: a night storm brings them two radically different couples who are expecting. One is simple and trusting, the other is rich and capricious. However, what unites them is that the babies are ready to be born, but the doctors do not want to deliver them at all. And how can one not become an ‘involuntary obstetrician’ in such a situation?

A stellar portrayal of a turbulent life

The stage brought together the most prominent actors of contemporary Ukrainian cinema and theatre, who this time went beyond their usual roles, demonstrating a completely different side of their talent:

• Anna Salivanychuk – star of the comedies ‘Swingers’, ‘Swingers 2’, the Ukrainian sitcom ‘Once Upon a Time in Poltava’, the series ‘Doctor by Calling’, ‘Just Say It’, and others;
• Oleksandr Popov – Ukrainian actor and host of the morning show ‘Breakfast. Vykhidnyy‘ on 1 Plus 1. He is known for his roles in the films ’Love Without a Contract‘ and ’The Real Santa‘ and the series ’The Hostess,‘ ’Lusia Intern," and others.
• Tetyana Mikhina is a People's Artist of Ukraine.
• Aram Arzumanyan – Ukrainian theatre and film actor, known for his roles in the films and series ‘Crazy Wedding,’ ‘Crazy Wedding 2,’ ‘Crazy Wedding 3,’ ‘Big Uncles,’ ‘Crazy Neighbours’ and others;
• Iryna Kudashova – Ukrainian theatre and film actress, blogger. Known for her roles in the films and series ‘School’, ‘Taste of Freedom’, ‘Carlos in Ukraine’, ‘Family Ties’ and others;
• Yaroslav Shakhtorin – Ukrainian film and television actor in The Raven and Vorobyov, Alone, Call 2, Lucy the Intern, and others.
